Me and my fam went to Tirta Ayu at July 14, 2012. Gosh....so amazing place! I was amazed, it's difficult for me to describe it in words, but I want to share it with others, so let me tell my experience at Tirta Ayu. The view is very beautiful. The food & beverages is good, not only for me but also for my Italian host son. The service is excellent. What else? Hmmmm....if you are looking for a Balinese tradition you will find it here, not just as a passive audience because you can learn by yourself how to be a Balinese by taking an offering class. My Italian host son was very happy took this class.
Tirta Ayu also helped us to have another enjoyable experience by asked us to ride bicycle at Budakeling village (near Tirta Ayu). The people at Budakeling were very nice and warm. On that day, we were very tired but we are very very happy and praying to go back there someday..............

My friend and I stayed at Tirta Ayu Hotel for seven nights in June/July and couldn't be happier. The general atmosphere of the place was very relaxed, the rooms were clean and tidy and the view spectacular. The restaurant was excellent with the crispy chicken the pick of the dishes.
Thanks so much to Agustine, little Sri, Gede and all of the staff for their wonderful warmth, service and hospitallity. We'll be back.

Tirta Ayu is part of what was the water palace of Tirta Gangga. This is a beautiful spot with nice rice field walks and the cool pools of the Palace. It is also up in the hills overlooking the Lombock Straight so it is a bit cooler. It is a small but exclusive guest house with only 5 cottages around a garden and pool. The restaurant can be busy at lunch with day trippers but it is quiet and excellent the rest of the time. No dumbed down food for westerners here... good local fare.
Room Tip: Go for the Raja or King's room... spoil yourself
We had our commitment ceremony at Tirta Ayu and they went above and beyond to make it the most spectacular experience. We had a aisle of flower petals and I had a beautiful bouquet. They had white doves for us to release, traditional Balinese musicians playing something that looks like a xylophone, and the greatest photographers. The location was perfect and all the work that Haryo put into our ceremony was fantastic. Haryo will work with you to make your ceremony everything you have ever dreamed of. I would recommend getting married at Tirta Ayu to everyone I know.

A beautiful place, within the Water Palace, with comfortable yet traditional rooms, a colorful and scentful shelter for authentic moments but, most of all, a fantastic staff ! Helpful, available, willing to do the best and succeeding to do so ! Great food too, the restaurant has the best view you can imagine…
IT's certainly one of the most fantastic experience you could have of the balinese sense of welcome!
Really beautiful hotel, very special location with views of the water palace. The rooms are tastefully and simply decorated, clustered around a private pool. The food was excellent.
Very special hotel.
Thanks Katy, Jim and Joe (21 months, London)

my wife and I stayed two nights (02.02.2012 till 04.02.2012) in your hotel; we did a walk through the rice fields and a tour to Amlapura and the Water Palace. We had a wonderful guide and we would like to say: Thank You. Please pass our thanks forward to our guide; we think his name was KOMET. He was the very best guide, which we had during our stay on the island of Bali.

However the superior villa was perfectly adequate, clean, well furnisher and spacious and its outdoor bathroom a delight to soak in.
The highlight was the restaurant - overlooking the Tirta Gangga water gardens. We sat under the high thatched roof with a friendly hard-to-spot mega-gekko reminding us with occassional (mating?) calls that this is Bali and not paradise. Here I had the pleasure to eat the best Nasi Campur on Bali and a delicious Sate Lilith (minced fish sate with lemon grass & co). The superior caliber of the food prompted me to make an exception and to order desert:s: a crepe (pancake) filled with fresh coconut and palm sugar and Pisang Goreng (fried bananas).
Upon viewing of his intensely green crepes (compliments of pandang leaf coloring) my husband accused me of being related to Lucretia Borgia, but then proceeded to munch happily until not a coconut crumb was left.. Hard to believe that by eating simple fried bananas one can partake in a deeply sensual experience, but biting through the light and crispy bit to get the oozy, oogling banana hit my culinary G-spot right there and then .......read more
The best word to describe Tirta Ayu is overwhelming. You will find only a few rooms and villas directly within the walls of the Water Palace of Tirtagangga. All accommodations are concealed and out of direct sight. A private pool allures you to take the plunge. From the exterior itself, a certain wellness experience can be perceived of a veiled treat. Metaphorically speaking: all is opposite to Kuta's mainroad .......read more

This time as was at your wonderful place with my Guests from Swiss and we ordered only Drinks. However the service was excellent and the waiters are ready to talk and even make some excellent jokes. I just feel to say Thank you and I am happy to come back again. I also would be glad if Mr. Budi tries to contact me when he is visiting his Uncle in Dalung nearby Tibubeneng where I stay.

The most beautiful place in Tirtagangga. I really
has an excellent chef !! I think I can say that the food I have here is
the best I have tasted in Bali. You must try something from the Balinese
stopped in because we are starving , after diving beach from Amed, and
we are discovered that the place is not only really nice with superb
view but the food is delightful.!! We will surely come back , both
adults and kids love it.
Very nice place,
peaceful, and very good food .
enjoyed the special room, the exceptional view and the good food.
Thanks for the staffs and the former King.
Greetings Klaas & Neeltje.
Very pleasant stay and very comfortable , beautiful scenery , lovely
The staff is competent and friendly . We will recommend other tourists this palace.
Thank you .
surprise ! We came here expecting to find a nice accommodation for the
night and ended up in a water palace for 2 nights. The park is
beautiful, the scenery outstanding and the people very nice. It cannot
be me relaxing like this. We have to come back to try the suite ones.
Think we have found one "green dream" This is a beautiful place and we wish we could stay for longer. Thank you for the good service and hope we'll come back here one day.
Petra & John.
Its one of the most beautiful places in Bali to be here for two/three days .
I recommend to make a trip through the rice fields for one or two hours. The personnel is very helpful for all questions you have. I write this for all the questions you have. I write this for all the other persons of my family.

Thanks for the good food and very kind service.
Thank you all for making this stay wonderful. We enjoyed our "little house" and your help during the cooking school a lot ! We will continue Balinese cooking school back home in Holland.

Dear Staff, We enjoyed the stay here very much. Despite we were the only guest we were treated like royalties. Especially our old daughter ISA was treated like a pricess. The food which was served was the best we had in Bali. The room ( villa 1) was magnificent we liked the bathroom. The views were outstanding and the guided tour was very interesting and beautiful.
Don't change anything. Hopefully we will come back soon.
